Desired Outcomes
- Discuss basic ultrasound physics and anatomy of the face, abdomen, breast, and buttock
- Observe ultrasound examination of the silicone gel and saline filled breast implant, including the diagnosis of rupture and seroma
- Recognize the anatomy and technique of ultrasound guided nerve blocks of the TAP and LAP
- Participate in the Ultrasound Skills Lab inclusive of recognition of ruptured breast implants, needle aspiration of seromas and model replication of fat injections for BBL
- Discuss the benefits of ultrasound use in facial fillers
